At Essence of Life Psychology, we provide Psychology and Counselling services to individuals and couples.

Fees
- The session fee is $240 per session, payable on the day of the appointment.
- Medicare rebates ($145.25 per session) are available for 10 sessions per year. Before your first session you will need (1) a valid Mental Health Care Plan with (2) a referral letter from your GP or referrer.
- After your payment is made, the rebate will be processed back into your nominated bank account held by Medicare.
- Private health fund – please check with your insurance health fund
- Third party funding – as contracted
- Couples counselling is not covered by Medicare
Cancellation Fees
Any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged $50 Cancellation fees are not covered by Medicare.
What to bring to your first appointment
Please remember to bring the following to your first appointment in order to claim your Medicare rebate:
- a copy of your referral letter from your GP
- a copy of your Mental Health Care Plan
- your Medicare card
